Hello, we're Virginia Tech's Micro-g NExT team! Every year, NASA creates design challenges based on real-life obstacles they face. We choose one of these challenges and develop a design proposal for NASA in late October. If our proposal is approved, we get started on manufacturing our solution and then get the chance to test our design in NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory in Houston, Texas.

As an all-freshman team competing in a competition oriented towards graduate students, our team is looking forward to learning a lot throughout this process. Virginia Tech's Astra teams have a track record of impressive designs and approved proposals. Our team this year is looking to continue the Hokie legacy!
